This “California Republic” etched mug by SF Mercantile is nice and big to hold a days worth of coffee, its design commemorates The Bear Flag Revolt of 1846 when a group of American immigrants in California rebelled against Mexico with the aspiration of forming an independent government. The flag they created evolved into the state flag of California that we use today.
